WNY Natter, as the tagline suggests, contains the bletherings of a mardy tyke. Maybe I’d better explain…
I am a Yorkshireman (Tyke). For local US readers Yorkshire is a county in northern England. I moved to the US, to the Western New York area, in January 2009. Before that I spent a few months in Erie, PA, and before that over 10 years in the Isle of Man. A small blog, Erieversible, was set up to cover the migration from a happy home life in the Isle of Man. That blog came to a natural end as the family re-established a happy home life, finally, in Buffalo.
As Erieversible closes, so WNY Natter opens. The family life documented in Erieversible had become humdrum and routine, hardly the stuff of blogs. WNY Natter contains my personal views on anything even remotely related to the Western New York area. But be warned…

So, that’s what WNY Natter is all about, and if you think it is just noise or nonsense, please don’t say you weren’t warned by the blog title and tagline. After all, us Yorkshire lads are nowt if not honest!
